Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) is a programme focused on eliminating hazardous chemicals from textile and footwear supply chains, particularly in wet processing operations such as dyeing, printing, and finishing. It sets out a Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) that certified facilities must comply with, ensuring that harmful chemicals are not discharged into wastewater or retained in finished products.
