OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certifies that every component of a textile product (fabric, thread, buttons, zips etc.) has been tested and found free from harmful substances. It is one of the most practical and widely adopted certifications in the world. Many manufacturing facilities in Bangladesh already hold this certification, making it relatively accessible. We can prioritise sourcing from OEKO-TEX certified facilities when requested, without necessarily requiring large minimum order quantities.
Fair Trade certification ensures that workers in the supply chain receive fair wages, work in safe conditions, and that producers receive a fair price for their goods. Fair Trade certified garment production in Bangladesh exists but is limited in scale. We can facilitate sourcing from Fair Trade certified facilities for buyers whose customers value this standard, subject to the order volumes those facilities require.

It is closely aligned with the requirements set out in our own Supplier Code of Conduct, making it a natural extension for buyers who want formal third-party verification of social standards rather than relying on our internal assessment. Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) is a programme focused on eliminating hazardous chemicals from textile and footwear supply chains, particularly in wet processing operations such as dyeing, printing, and finishing. It sets out a Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) that certified facilities must comply with, ensuring that harmful chemicals are not discharged into wastewater or retained in finished products. We have connections with several ZDHC-compliant facilities in Bangladesh. It allows us to source products from those facilities, particularly for dyed or treated textile products where chemical safety is a concern. As with other certifications, this is facilitated on a buyer-driven basis depending on order requirements.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is one of the most recognised standards for organic textiles worldwide. It covers the entire supply chain, from raw fibre to finished product, ensuring that organic fibres are processed without harmful chemicals and that social criteria are met throughout production. We have affiliations with numerous GOTS-certified facilities in Bangladesh, and positioning us well for orders where organic certification is a requirement. This works best when the buyer can commit to a minimum order quantity that justifies the certified facility taking the order.
